INVITATION TO BID – Mobile Data Terminals

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, acting as the Fiscal Agent for Ohio Homeland Security Region Eight, is accepting bids for twenty-five (25) new Mobile Data Terminals. Specifications are included on the attached bid form.

Bid proposals must be received by the Muskingum County Commissioners’ Office by Friday, April 12, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted. Either a detailed quote or completion of the attached bid form is required with each proposal. All proposals must be mailed or delivered in a sealed envelope to the following address:

As Sheriff of Muskingum County, I would like to welcome you to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office website. It is my hope that our website will be a useful resource for the citizens of Muskingum County.

It has been an honor to serve as Muskingum County Sheriff. The office of Sheriff is unique, as it is the only elected law enforcement official in the State of Ohio. The Sheriff is elected/re-elected every four years allowing the Sheriff, their record and the way in which he/she operates their office to be accountable to the citizens and the voters of the county. It is the only remaining law enforcement position in the United States which is filled through the electoral process.
