Foreclosed real estate and delinquent tax sales are held on Thursdays at 10:00 A.M. online. Pre-registration is required.
Sale notices are published in the Zanesville Times Recorder. The ads are published once each week for a minimum of three consecutive weeks prior to the sale. You can access the Times Recorder website HERE.
Copies of the sale notices are posted at the Clerk of Courts Office on the second floor of the Muskingum County Courthouse and may be viewed during their normal business hours.
The appraised value DOES NOT include an interior examination of the property. Appraisers and the Sheriff's office DO NOT have keys to the property. Therefore they DO NOT have access inside of the property.
THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE DOES NOT HAVE INFORMATION ON LIENS OR DELINQUENT TAXES ATTACHED TO THE PROPERTIES.
