Muskingum County Treasurer Delinquent Tax Department
The delinquent tax department was developed to collect delinquent taxes in several areas:
1. Real Estate Taxes
2. Manufactured Home Taxes
3. Bankruptcy Cases
4. Private Foreclosure Cases
If you have fallen behind in payment of your property taxes or manufactured home taxes, please contact Diane Beisser at the Muskingum County Treasurer’s office as soon as possible at 740.455.7118. We want to help and have payment plan contracts available to assist you. Delinquent contracts help you get caught up more quickly, and inexpensively, because any additional penalties and interest are set aside so long as you keep up with your payments.

Muskingum County Sheriff’s sales of foreclosed real estate are held on Thursday mornings at 10:00 A.M. in the first floor lobby of the Muskingum County Courthouse, located at Fourth and Main Streets in downtown Zanesville.
Sale notices are published in the Zanesville TIMES RECORDER. The ads are published once each week for a minimum of three consecutive weeks. You may access the Times Recorder web site by clicking HERE.
Copies of the sale notices are posted outside the Clerk of Courts office on the second floor of the Muskingum County Courthouse at 401 Main Street, Zanesville, Ohio and may be viewed between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday thru Friday.
NOTICE: The Appraisal value listed below DOES NOT include an interior examination of the property. Appraisers DO NOT have keys to the properties and therefore DO NOT have access inside the property during the appraisal process.
THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE DOES NOT HAVE INFORMATION ON LIENS OR ANY DELINQUENT TAXES ATTACHED TO THESE PROPERTIES.
