The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Civil Division is responsible for providing service for all court orders including: writs, subpoenas, summons, evictions, executions of foreclosures, sheriff sales and various court orders relative to property possessions and/or seizure according to the courts.
In order to process papers for service, we require two official copies; one for service, and one for the return of service. A self-addressed stamped envelope is re to send the return back. If an affidavit is required by your agency, please send the affidavit form along with the papers to be processed and served.
An invoice for the costs will be sent with the return of service. The fee will be determined by the cost of service and the mileage.
We ask that you allow our agency plenty of time to process and serve any papers.
